Provide a 2 hour indoor team building activity session for 200 conference delegates at Mere Golf and Country Club near Manchester. The activity must take place in the main conference room as there is limited break out space available.
Solution:
Around the World in 80 minutes was an ideal table based team building activity to apply to this brief. The teams would go head to head whilst still being predominately table based thus making the activity suitable in terms of the space available.
The autonomous nature of the Around the World in 80 Minutes activity meant that teams could choose their own route through the game and would not require constant assistance from the event team; a potential pitfall when dealing with 25 cabaret tables in a short space of time.
Outcome:
The energy was unbelievable as the teams went head to head. Runners from each table regularly dashed to the front of the main room to grab another country activity box, score more points and beat the clock. Several teams managed to get Around the World in 80 minutes but we had a winner and presented a trophy to the winning team at the end the session - great fun.
