“Sheer exhilaration”. Nothing comes close to the excitement and immediacy of a Rib. Our fleet of matched 8 metre ribs powered by 225HP engines are capable of stunning speeds and yet ultimately controllable in all sea states.
The treasure hunt makes an excellent day’s activity with both land and sea with clues to be solved in several different locations and ports. Each team is allocated a boat, charts, clues, stop watches, Polaroid cameras and tasks to complete. Points are skewed heavily towards those who show creativity.
As well as fun, this event is ideal for team building with it's leadership and communication exercises and can be further adjusted to suit your objectives.
Guests gather in the bistro of the Yacht Haven Marina in Lymington to enjoy a coffee and bacon roll. During this our team will run through the safety briefing for the day ahead. Our fully qualified skippers will then take guests down to the berths to ‘kit up’ for sea with oilskins and lifejackets.
Once teams have been issued with stop watches, cameras, charts and clues the boats will head out into the Solent and plan their strategy, with a little help from our skipper, during the ‘buoy to buoy’ navigational challenge.
Within the day there are land and sea based questions as well as tasks. Guests will land in The Hamble, Yarmouth and Cowes (for lunch).
At the end of the day we will mark the teams question packs and award prizes….all over a hot mug of Coco!
